Civil & Environmental Engineering

Civil engineers are vital to any community – planning, building and maintaining our environments while meeting the responsibilities of sustaining our natural world. Their innovations are everywhere, from development of cities to advancements in health care.
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is ranked as one of the top civil engineering departments in Canada. Students have the opportunity to study in a variety of research areas – biomechanical, construction, environmental, geotechnical, materials, structural, transportation and water resources engineering – all under one roof.
Students who are interested in Civil & Environmental Engineering have the option of completing one of three degrees:
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- BSc in Civil Engineering with Environmental Engineering Option
- BSc in Civil Engineering with Biomedical Engineering Option
