Research Currently in Progreess
- Novel excavation technologies for efficient and economic surface mining; this phase will provide of the research will produce on intelligent platform for which oil sands excavation will interact selectively and productively with oil sands formation
- The oil sands dozer’s undercarriage behavior study; this research project is aimed to advanced knowledge of the behavior of undercarriage elements of heavy duty earth moving equipment operating in tar sand environment
- Intelligent Dipper Concept: this study will incorporate the development of optimum shape of the bucket analytically in the first phase and will be followed by experimental observation in labs as well as field
- The novel ore dilution evaluation method: A new ore dilution evaluation methodology has been developed, replacing the ten different analytical methods by only two.
- Blade curvature modeling of oil sands dozers; this research work leads to development of analysis model for determination of optimum curvature of dozer blade
